As we drive through the pea soup thick fog on one of our 5 time trials yesterday, that was after the pouring rain, I said to Gunther,
“All we need is some snow to finish this off”
Well guess what? Last night it snowed. In July, in Saint Moritz where we were headed.
Some friends met us in St Moritz for a lovely surprise and everything is revving up for the last push.
The dramas continue. One navigator walked out last night to leave his poor driver to go it alone yesterday and radiators boil over with the mountain passes and brakes are smoking. Tilly drives on and we are counting down the kilometers. Lausanne tonight, Reims tomorrow night then Paris. I think there will be a few tears shed.
Jill, oh no, what terrible things are happening to the world.
Nice, has now had carnage, what will be next?
They are not going to stop us travelling, we are not going to submit to those bustards! You and I are going to protest again I will start the banners.
What a great adventure you are having, I am sure you will be celebrating for a long time afterwards!
